What Are Essential Oils?

Three Ways To Experience Essential Oils

Aromatic

OIls can simply be dropped on the hands, rubbed together and cupped around the nose.

Drops can be placed in a diffuser to disperse a mist into the air.

They can be added to distilled water in a spray bottle and misted around a room or on a person.

Topical

Essential oils can be applied neat to the skin or diluted in a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil or cold-pressed oils such as sesame, olive, almond, grapeseed, walnut and avocado to name a few.

Less is more with essential oils and can be applied neat to the forehead, neck, shoulders, arms, chest, lower back or feet.

Internal

doTERRA Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils are safe for internal use, due to the rigorous testing the company performs on every batch of oil. This method is not recommended with any other brand of essential oils.

Certain oils may be added to water, smoothies, milk, tea, other drinks or used in cooking. Some oils may also be taken internally with a veggie capsule.
